Welcome to Trim Flying Club - The Private Pilot Training Club!. We are Ideally situated in the beautiful countryside just outside Trim, Co. Meath.
Trim Flying Club operates from Trim Airfield (EITM),Ireland, situated in the heart of the Boyne valley of Meath, only 30 minutes drive from Dublin, 15 minutes flying from Aerodrome (EIWT) . Trim Flying Club is a voluntary flying organisation founded in 1979, with the primary objective of promoting amateur aviation and in particular to run instruction and training courses relating to private (non-commercial) flying. The club is run by a committee, appointed in accordance with the Memorandum and Articles of Association of Trim Flying Club Ltd, which meets monthly to conduct the business of the Club.
Trim Flying Club Aircraft EI-EYJ Trim Flying Club Aircraft EI-DDC Trim Flying Club is recognised by the Irish Aviation Authority (IAA) as a Registered Training Facility (RTF) for pilot training in the following areas:
- Theoretical Knowledge Instruction for PPL(A) (Private Pilot Licence for Aeroplanes)
- Practical Flight Instruction for PPL(A)
- Single-engine Piston Landplane SPA Class Rating
- Touring Motor Glider (TMG) SPA Class Rating Conversion
We are currently open to membership for PPL Holders.
We are not currently seeking trainee pilot members but we intend to restore our student drive early in 2015. Please keep an eye on our site and our facebook page for updates.

Paul kelly passes his PPL Flight test.

A big club wide congratulations to our newest qualified PPL Paul Kelly sucessfully passed his flight test in late September 2014 and we are all delighted for him. We wish Paul all the best in his flying career from this point on and wish him many happy flying hours. We are so proud to have yet another PPL Holder among our members
Airfield Status - Open
Our airfield is currently open for use. However as this is subject to change due to many factors including weather etc. please check back prior to your flight and keep a close eye on local weather charts to ensure that the airfield will be able to accomodate you upon your arrival.
