- What Aviation standard does Trim Flying Club operate to?
TFC trains it student pilots in accordance with European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and Irish Aviation Authority (IAA) Rules and Regulations.
- Does Trim Flying Club offer gift vouchers?
As TFC is a club as opposed to a commercial aviation organisation, we don’t offer gift vouchers to members of the public.
- I have a Commercial Pilots License (CPL) and need to build some hours to renew my ratings, Can I do this at Trim Flying Club?
TFC is a private flying club that gains its members from election to the club by the committee. TFC does not permit temporary use of club aircraft to non-club members to renew ratings. If you wish to join the club and build hours as a member, please contact us.
- Does Trim Flying Club train pilots for the Commercial Pilots License (CPL)?
TFC does not train student pilots to Commercial Pilots License (CPL) level, it only trains its members to Private Pilots Licence (PPL) only.
- Does TFC sponsor student pilots to complete a Private Pilots License?
TFC is a privately funded club and does not sponsor Student Pilots to complete a Private Pilots Licence.
- How can I get an introductory flight?
An introductory flight is offered as part of the joining process to become a member of the club. We don’t offer or sell introductory flights to anyone who has not submitted an application to join.
